simpleEDI – setup and operation

Purpose of simpleEDI

The module simpleEDI is your link between Business Central and the Procuros Integration Hub. By using it, you are able to…

1.

…receive sales orders from partners that are using the Procuros Integration Hub for EDI-based procurement.

2.

…send order responses, delivery notes and invoices to these customers.

3.

…track current status of the transmissions in both directions: from and to the Integration Hub.

Therefore, we have enritched the standard functionalities in the sales order processes in that way, that it is possible to link them with Procuros. You will be guided through the setup of this module, and if it’s done, you can be focused on your daily business. That’s because nearly all functionalities are in the background.

In overview, the simpleEDI-module will enhance your order-based sales process:

Receive orders from Procuros for specific customers

Checking the orders
and giving
order responses to be transmitted

Transmit
automatically
shipping notes

Transmit
automatically
invoices

Of course it’s possible to use standard approval workflows, e.g. to approve and release an order, before
sending it to Procuros.
